Fabricator Welder NeededLocation- Bradford, BD4A good understanding of EnglishThe ability to meet deadlines, be organised and work individually or as part of a teamThis is an ongoing workWe need someone who can start ASAP.Work Timings- Mon to Thus- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Fri- 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM39 hours paid/weekMust have appropriate PPE.Must Have NVQ, City and Guilds or an equivalent qualification in Welding or fabrication. Job Duties :- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and welding instructions. Measure, mark out, cut and prepare metal components for fabrication. Fabricate and assemble metal structures, frames and components. Carry out welding using MIG/MAG, TIG and/or MMA/ARC processes, depending on the requirements of the role. Prepare metal surfaces and joints before welding. Use hand tools, grinders, drills and workshop machinery safely. Grind, polish and finish completed welds to the required standard. Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance with specifications. Identify and report welding defects, material issues or equipment faults. Carry out basic checks and maintenance of tools and equipment. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Follow all company health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. Work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
