Fabricator Welder

The Job People are looking for Fabricator Welders to join a busy manufacturing plant in Coventry.

The work is long term and can lead to a permanent contract after a qualifying period.

To manufacture, repair, modify and assemble metal components and structures using welding and fabrication techniques while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity

Details of a Fabricator Welder in Coventry:

• Monday to Friday
• 8am till 4pm Monday to Thursday
• 8am till 2pm Friday
• 38 hours per week
• -21.12 per hour
• Overtime available
• Must be flexi to support business needs
• Ongoing work

• Must have previous experience and certification / qualification

As a Fabricator Welder, you would be required to:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Fabricate, assemble and weld components to required standards.
• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, drills, grinders, presses and welding equipment.
• Carry out MIG, TIG and Arc welding as required.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Perform basic maintenance and care of welding and fabrication equipment.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
• Support continuous improvement and TPM activities.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Work collaboratively with production, maintenance and engineering teams.

Role of a Fabricator Welder in Coventry:

• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good problem-solving and fault-finding ability.
• Attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Knowledge of MIG, TIG and Arc welding processes
• Understanding of fabrication techniques and metal properties.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relating to welding and fabrication.
• Understanding of quality inspection methods and measuring equipment.
• Awareness of TPM and continuous improvement principles.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production environments
