About Us:

We are an established port operation managing a complex estate with diverse equipment and maintenance requirements. We operate a 24/7 facility requiring skilled trades professionals to maintain our mobile plant, conveyors, cranes and associated infrastructure across the port.

Fabricator Welder - The Role:

You will work on a wide range of welding and fabrication projects, from routine maintenance to reactive repairs across the port estate. You will operate on various equipment including mobile plant, conveyors and cranes, working both independently and as part of a small team to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.

Fabricator Welder - Key Responsibilities:

- Cutting, grinding, drilling, burning and assembling metal work

- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings

- Performing MIG/MAG and MMA welding

- Maintaining high levels of workmanship and health and safety standards

- Working comfortably at heights when required

- Undertaking light and heavy-duty fabrication work

- Responding to reactive maintenance requirements

Fabricator Welder - You:

- Hold NVQ level 3 in welding and fabrication or equivalent

- Have proven experience as a welder fabricator

- Hold current MIG/MAG and MMA welding certifications

- Possess a full UK driving licence

- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and take pride in your work

- Are reliable, punctual and hardworking with a flexible attitude

- Are health and safety conscious and able to work effectively in a small team

- Are willing to work occasional overtime to meet the demands of a 24/7 port operation
