About the Role

The Fabricator Welder position based in Buxton offers a permanent, full-time contract with a salary between £33,000 and £37,000 per annum, depending on experience. Working a minimum of 40 hours per week, the role involves producing staircases, platforms, handrails, pipework, and structural steelwork for clients in food, retail, construction, and agricultural sectors. The successful candidate will interpret technical drawings and collaborate within a small team, performing both workshop and site-based fabrication. Applicants should be qualified or possess substantial experience in welding and fabrication, demonstrating practical skills and reliability. This role requires competence in reading engineering drawings and working independently when needed.

We are looking for a practical and reliable Fabricator Welder who can work from drawings and as part of a small team.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be a qualified or experienced fabricator.
• Must be a qualified or experienced welder, with experience in TIG & MIG welding steel, stainless & aluminium.
• Must be able to read / follow technical drawings.
• The role involves both in-house and on-site work.
• A full UK driving licence
