Job Title: Fabricator / WelderLocation: WalsallStart Date: ASAPAbout Our ClientOur client is looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join their team in Walsall. You will be responsible for the manufacture of medium to heavy, temporary, and permanent fabrication structures-working directly from drawings provided by the office team and following established company processes.As part of the fabrications operations team, you will provide operational support across the business, maintaining high quality standards and strict safety protocols.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational and WorkshopRead and work directly from controlled engineering drawings, cutting, tacking, welding, and drilling materials within specified tolerances.Document all materials used for full traceability (confirming cast numbers where required) and complete workshop checklists throughout production.Operate overhead cranes safely for workshop manufacturing activities.Safely destroy superseded drawings when revisions are issued.Assist with Goods In processes by unloading deliveries, checking items against supplier documentation, verifying material certificates, and handing paperwork to the office team.Provide on-site installation support when required.Quality and CommercialProduce daily timesheets detailing all working hours and associated job numbers.Maintain accurate stock usage, conduct stock audits, and support the business during annual stock checks.Complete WPS checks on team members'' work.Ensure all ..... full job details .....
