About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join our team in Wolverhampton. This is a hands-on role with the potential to grow into a Shopfloor Manager position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be involved in the fabrication and welding of structural steel components, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication and welding of structural steel to specification
• Reading and interpreting detailed fabrication drawings
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Supporting production targets and deadlines
• Potential to oversee shopfloor operations and support junior staff

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fabrication and welding of structural steel
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings (essential)
• Good communication skills and punctuality
• Experience with UKCA paperwork (advantageous)
• Driving licence (preferred but not essential)
• Previous shopfloor management experience (beneficial but not required)
