Fabricator Welder

Pertemps Stoke are looking to recruit a skilled Fabricator Welder with ASME IX coding and extensive experience in the petrochemical industry. The successful candidate will join our client’s team, working on high-specification fabrication and welding projects.

Responsibilities of the Fabricator Welder role:

• Carry out precision welding and fabrication to ASME IX standards.
• Experience working to WPS’
• Work with a variety of materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and exotic alloys.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and welding procedures.
• Liaise with engineers, inspectors, and project teams to meet tight deadlines.
• Conduct inspections and repairs on pressure vessels, pipework, and structural components.

Requirements and skills required for this Fabricator Welder role:

• ASME IX Coded Welder certification (TIG/MIG/MMA).
• Proven experience in the petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors is desirable.
• Strong fabrication skills, including cutting, bending, and assembling components.
• Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of welding procedures, NDT techniques, and industry regulations.

Details of this Fabricator Welder role:

• Hourly rate: £16ph
• Hours of work – Monday to Friday, Day Shift
• Location: Stoke-on-Trent
• Training and certification support.
