Are you an experienced Fabricator Welder or MIG Welder looking for a new opportunity with excellent Monday to Friday hours?
We are recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join an established manufacturing business in Kingswinford. This is a hands on role where you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling and welding steel components to a high standard.
The role would suit an experienced welder/fabricator who enjoys working in a busy engineering environment and is confident working from drawings and specifications.
The role
As a Fabricator Welder, your duties will include:
- MIG welding and general fabrication
- Fabricating and assembling steel components
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Cutting, grinding, drilling and preparing materials
- Measuring and marking out accurately
- Welding a range of steel thicknesses
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to specification
- Following health and safety procedures at all times

Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience in a fabrication and welding environment
Strong MIG welding experience
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Experience working with mild steel
Good measuring and marking-out skills
Strong attention to detail
A good understanding of fabrication processes
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience working with pressure vessels, tanks or similar fabricated products would be highly beneficial, but is not essential.
