An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a well-established and growing specialist steelwork business based in West Yorkshire.The company delivers high-quality engineered steelwork solutions across a wide range of projects, including staircases, balustrades, structural steelwork, platforms, and bespoke steel installations. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking to add a skilled Fabricator Welder to their day shift team.The RoleWorking within a busy fabrication workshop, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding structural steel components to engineering drawings and project specifications. This role will involve cutting, grinding, assembling, and welding a variety of steel sections while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesReading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawingsFabricating structural steel components including UB''s, UC''s, PFC''s, and CHS''sCutting, grinding, fitting, and welding steelwork to specificationOperating fabrication machinery, hand tools, and overhead cranesEnsuring all work is completed to quality and dimensional standardsMaintaining a safe and organised working environmentWorking effectively as part of a fabrication team to meet production deadlinesRequirementsPrevious experience in steel fabrication and weldingAbility to read and work from engineering drawingsStrong fabrication and MIG welding skillsExperience ..... full job details .....
