Fabricator Welder Roles and Responsibilities: Fabricating and welding structural steel components to detailed engineering drawings Carrying out MIG and MMA welding to a high standard Completing full penetration butt welds and multi-run fillet welds Working with a variety of steel grades and thicknesses Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings Setting up and using welding, burning and fabrication equipment Using oxy-acetylene and plasma cutting equipment Carrying out jig work and ensuring components are accurately fabricated Working in line with relevant welding codes, standards and quality requirements Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment Fabricator Welder Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working as a Fabricator, Welder or Fabricator/Welder Minimum of 2 years'' post-qualification experience with MIG and MMA welding Able to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings Experience carrying out full penetration butt welds and mu...
