The role will involve the fabrication and welding of bespoke metal and architectural components. Duties: - Fabricate metal structures from scratch - Both MIG and TIG welding - Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications - Completing multi-pass and positional welding on mild steel up to 25mm - Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and grinders - Measure, cut, and assemble steel and other metals to exact tolerances - Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications - The occasional working away may be required Experience Required: - Strong fabrication experience ideally in a heavy engineering environment - Experience with different welding techniques including MIG and TIG - Ability to work from detailed technical drawings - Confident with various metals and fabrication techniques The Package: - Competitive hourly rate - Day shifts with the option of overtime paid at a premium - Stable, gro...
