Fabricator/Welder - TauntonLocation: Taunton, SomersetJob Type: Full-time, PermanentPay: 15- 18 per hour, depending on experienceSalary Equivalent: 31,000- 38,000 DOEOvertime: AvailableStart Date: As soon as availableWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join a well-established fabrication company based in Taunton.This is a great opportunity to join a respected business working on a wide range of bespoke architectural, secondary and structural steel fabrication projects across the South West.The role will involve:Fabricating and welding a variety of bespoke steelworkWorking from fabrication drawingsProducing items such as stairs, gantries, walkways, handrails, balconies and structural steelworkWorking as part of a skilled workshop teamMaintaining high standards of quality and attention to detailUsing modern workshop equipment and fabrication processesThe ideal candidate will have:Minimum 3 years'' experience in fabrication/weldingExperience working from fabrication drawingsBackground in structural steel, architectural metalwork or bespoke fabricationGood attention to detailPositive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to work well within a team and on own initiativeGood timekeeping and reliabilityWillingness to learn new equipment and processesExperience with tube bending machines or robotic welding systems would be beneficial, but training can be provided for the right person.Working hours:Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pmFriday: 8:00am - ..... full job details .....
