The Role This is a varied and hands-on position, primarily focused on welding and fabricating bespoke, one-off items or low-volume batch work. The role involves working on pipework, vessels, and associated equipment, mainly using TIG welding on stainless steel. While the role is predominantly workshop-based, there may be occasional site work depending on project requirements, particularly within food, brewery, and pharmaceutical environments. Key Responsibilities Fabrication and TIG welding of stainless steel components to a high standard. Working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Producing bespoke and low-volume fabrication work including polishing. Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Occasional on-site installation or modification work.
