Immediate start available (subject to interview process) Rate of pay is -18.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabrication plans and technical specifications. Measuring, marking out, cutting and preparing steel plates and structural components. Fabricating, assembling and fitting steel components to the required specifications. Carrying out MIG/MAG welding on mild steel and heavy steel fabrications. Working on the fabrication, modification and repair of plant equipment and steel structures. Using workshop machinery, grinders, cutting equipment and other fabrication tools. Ensuring all fabricated and welded components meet quality standards and required tolerances. Inspecting completed work to ensure accuracy and quality. Working independently and as part of a team to meet production requirements.
