Fabricator Welder

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for:We are looking for a Fabricator Welder for a permanent position based with our client in St Helens.Immediate start available (subject to interview process)Rate of pay is 18.00 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesReading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabrication plans and technical specifications.Measuring, marking out, cutting and preparing steel plates and structural components.Fabricating, assembling and fitting steel components to the required specifications.Carrying out MIG/MAG welding on mild steel and heavy steel fabrications.Working on the fabrication, modification and repair of plant equipment and steel structures.Using workshop machinery, grinders, cutting equipment and other fabrication tools.Ensuring all fabricated and welded components meet quality standards and required tolerances.Inspecting completed work to ensure accuracy and quality.Working independently and as part of a team to meet production requirements.Maintaining a clean and safe working environment and following all health and safety procedures. Skills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience working as a Fabricator Welder within a heavy engineering, fabrication or plant environment.Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings.Experience in marking out, cutting, assembling and fitting steel components.Experience working with heavy-gauge steel and structural fabrications.Competence in using fabrication equipment, hand ..... full job details .....
