A leading manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join the team in Wednesbury. This is initially a temporary-to-permanent position, involving MIG Welding and the Fabrication of heavy-gauge structural steelwork for a range of large-scale projects.

What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Fabricator Welder
- Producing heavy-gauge multi-run MIG welds for structural assemblies
- Fabricating components directly from drawings
- Preparing and positioning materials for accurate fit-up
- Working across beams, frames, platforms and similar steel fabrications
- Carrying out quality checks to maintain strong, reliable weld integrity
- Keeping your work area safe, organised and production-ready
What you’ll bring to the table as a Fabricator Welder
- Previous experience in heavy-gauge MIG welding
- Strong ability to read and work from drawings
- Confident fabrication skills across structural components
- High attention to detail in weld quality and finish
- Experience maintaining safe workshop practices
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30
