About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Fabricator/MIG Welders to join a busy and well-established engineering company based in Winsford, CW7.-

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling structural steelwork, carrying out high-quality MIG welding, and working from engineering drawings to manufacture components to a high standard within a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG welding structural steel components.
• Fabricating and assembling structural beams, columns, frames, and other steelwork.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
• Measuring, cutting, fitting, and preparing materials.
• Operating fabrication equipment and hand tools safely.
• Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Fabricator/Welder.
• Strong MIG welding skills.
• Experience working with structural steel and heavy fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.

Desirable

• Relevant welding qualifications or certifications.
