Fabricator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our manufacturing team-working Monday to Thursday 2.00pm - 12.15am. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality wooden products, from cutting and shaping materials to assembling and finishing bespoke items. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Using a variety of hand tools such as Routers, Sanders/ Polishers.
• Use Panel Saw to accurately cut materials.
• Heat, Form and Glue edging strips to panels.
• Sand and polish finished panels.
• Good eye for detail
• Quality conscious
• Well organised
• Can work with minimal supervision (after training)
• Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic measurements and calculations to ensure accurate fabrication dimensions using basic math skills.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures.
• Conduct quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet specified standards.

Experience.

• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication processes.
• Mechanical knowledge related to, assembly, and basic maintenance of fabrication equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations relevant to fabrication tasks.
• Prior experience working with , mechanical assembly, or related fields is preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates willing to learn. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to refine their skills in fabrication within a professional environment that values precision, safety, and craftsmanship.
