      <description>Location: Bristol | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | A well-established engineering and manufacturing business in the Bristol area is seeking an experienced Fabricator to join its growing workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy fabrication environment, producing high-quality metal components and assemblies for a range of industrial applications.  The successful candidate will be involved in the complete fabrication process, from measuring and cutting materials through to welding, fitting, and final assembly.  Key Responsibilities  Carry out full sheet metal fabrication activities including measuring, cutting, folding, fitting, and welding.  Fabricate sheet steel and sections ranging from 1mm to 10mm thickness.  Operate fabrication equipment including guillotines and press brakes.  Produce metal components and assemblies to engineering specifications.  Perform manual cutting using plasma and flame-cutting methods.  Repair, modify, and fabricate replacement parts where required.  Use handheld and powered tools safely and effectively.
