Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret technical and fabrication drawings to produce components with high accuracyPerform tasks such as cutting, bending, welding, forming, assembling, finishing etc. using tools and machinery (MIG, TIG, grinders, press brakes, cold saws etc.)Maintain clean, safe, and organised workshop/working areaMonitor and ensure quality standards are met for all deliverablesWork collaboratively with the design, joinery, CAD and project teams to deliver finished products to spec and on scheduleHelp with maintenance of equipment/tools and order supplies when neededWhat We''re Looking ForProven fabrication experience (metal fabrication, sheet metal work etc.)Proficiency in welding methods (especially MIG/TIG) and familiarity with fabrication machinery/toolsAbility to read / follow engineering/fabrication drawings and maintain tight tolerancesStrong attention to detail and pride in producing work to a high standardCapable of working both independently and as part of a teamA positive attitude, reliability, good communication and practical problem-solving skillsBenefitsFixed salary of 31,800 per yearMonday to Friday working (no weekend shifts) provides good work-life balanceOpportunity to work in a creative, varied environment on both permanent installations and event-based projectsAccess to high-quality equipment and workshop facilitiesDevelopment opportunities - gaining new fabrication skills, potentially via mentored learning and trade specialist ..... full job details .....
