Fabricator Location: Carlisle, Cumbria Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum Shift: Days Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Sector: Industrial Job Role - Fabricator An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fabricator to join an established industrial business based in Carlisle. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Fabricator looking for a permanent days-based position, working within a busy industrial environment alongside an experienced engineering and maintenance team. You will be responsible for carrying out fabrication, welding, repair and modification work on a range of industrial machinery, equipment and structural components. Key Responsibilities Carry out fabrication and welding work on industrial machinery and equipment. Fabricate, repair and modify steel components and structures. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Measure, cut, drill and shape materials accurately. Carry out MIG/MAG welding and other welding techniques where required. Complete planned and reactive fabrication work. Carry out repairs and modifications to machinery and equipment. Work closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to minimise downtime. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timescales. Maintain a safe and organised working environment. Follow all company health and safety procedures.
