MIG Welder/Fabricator
Location: Wolverhampton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm (40 hours per week)
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum (£14.42 – £15.38 per hour), dependent on experience
We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent working hours with no weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG welding to a high standard.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Measure, mark out, cut, and fabricate steel components.
- Assemble and tack weld products prior to final welding.
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety procedures.
- Proven experience in MIG welding and metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Experience using fabrication tools and workshop machinery.
- Ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Fabrication & Welding, Engineering, or a related discipline, or have proven industry experience in a similar fabrication role.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of health and safety within a fabrication environment.
- Competitive salary of £30,000 – £32,000 per year (£14.42 – £15.38 per hour), depending on experience.
- Monday to Friday working hours (6:00am – 2:00pm).
- Temp to Perm full-time position.
