Fabricator

A well-established structural steel fabricating company is seeking skilled and motivated Fabricators to join its team in Coatbridge. If you have a strong background in fabrication and wish to join a growing company, they want to hear from you! 

Responsibilities as Fabricator

- Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate metal components accurately.
- Using of a range of tools and equipment, including cutting, bending, and welding machinery, to shape and assemble materials.
- Ensuring the quality and precision of fabricated components through careful measurement and inspection.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues to optimise production processes and meet project deadlines.
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

What we’re looking for in a Fabricator:

- Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role with expertise in metal fabrication techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong practical skills in using fabrication tools and equipment, such as welding machines, grinders, and drills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in fabrication and welding (e.g., NVQ, City and Guilds) are advantageous but not essential.
