Contract Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker

Location: Derby
Rate: £20.00 p/h (Ltd – Outside IR35)
Contract: 3 months initially
Shift: Monday to Friday – Days

We’re looking for an experienced Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker to support a busy engineering and manufacturing workshop. The role involves producing and assembling components used in bespoke conveyor systems and food processing machinery.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone confident working from drawings and delivering high-quality fabrication work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out MIG & TIG welding on stainless and mild steel
• Fabricate and assemble components from engineering drawings
• Produce parts for conveyor and processing equipment
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety

Requirements:

• Proven background in fabrication and sheet metal work
• Strong MIG & TIG welding experience
• Confident working with stainless steel and mild steel
• Able to read and work from technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and quality standards

Benefits:

• 3 month rolling contract

• Early finish Friday
