They are currently seeking a number of Fabrication Technicians to join their team, working Mon-Fri 6-2 and 2-10 shifts, for which a generous shift allowance is paid. You will be responsible for the manufacture of precision infrared and visible optical components to exacting customer specifications. You will program, set and operate CNC-machinery to cut, mill, shape, polish-and bevel optical components, working to micron level tolerances and maintaining the highest standards of quality, cleanliness and workmanship. Requirements Proven experience programming, setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines. Experience manufacturing precision components to tight dimensional tolerances. Experience working to micron-level tolerances. Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience using precision measurement equipment.
