£35k - £42k DOE

We are looking for someone who know the fabrication world of sheet metal, from laser cutting – fettling – press brakes – paint to the most important part MIG & TIG welding.  

What you will be doing

• Leading the shop floor to ensure projects are completed on time, resolving issues as they come up.
• Be the technical point for colleague questions
• Manage stock to ensure you have enough parts for projects
• Alongside the usual points of H&S, minimise downtime, training new staff members etc.

To be considered

• The bulk of this role will be focused on welding so a strong fabrication background is essential.
• Knowledge of other fabrication processes such as press brakes, laser cutting etc.
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Previous experience in a leadership role is ideal
