Due to organic growth, we are currently recruiting for a Fabrication Supervisor to join this well-established manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities of the Fabrication Supervisor
- Lead and supervise daily fabrication operations, ensuring production targets and customer deadlines are consistently achieved
- Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture, carrying out regular shop floor inspections and ensuring safe working practices.
- Drive high-quality standards, supporting a Right First-Time approach and reducing rework through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate labour, resources, and production schedules to maximise efficiency and meet operational demands.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a positive, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
- Monitor performance, maintain accurate production documentation, and support improvement projects to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Working hours of the Fabrication Supervisor
- Monday- Thursday: 06:00-15:00
- Friday- 06:00-11:00
I would be interested in speaking to candidates who possess:
- Previous experience in a fabrication, welding, or manufacturing environment, ideally within a supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage production teams effectively.
- A good understanding of health & safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining safe working practices.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, capable of working closely with both shop floor teams and wider business functions.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement, quality standards, and driving operational performance.
In Return, the Fabrication Supervisor will receive:
- Starting Salary: -40,560 per Annum.
- Production bonus paid Quartley.
- Early finish on a Friday.
- 33 days holiday allowance.
- Health and Wellbeing scheme.
