Fabrication Workshop ManagerLocation: GosfieldHours: 7:30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday Salary: 30- 40k DOE Manufacturing and Engineering SectorThe RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fabrication Workshop Manager to lead operations within a busy manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing fabrication activities, ensuring high-quality production, and driving efficiency across the workshop.You will play a key role in delivering production targets, maintaining safety standards, and developing a high-performing team, while supporting ongoing business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkshop and Production ManagementOversee daily fabrication and production activities to meet delivery schedulesCoordinate welding, fabrication, and assembly operationsMonitor workflow and ensure build targets and deadlines are achievedAllocate labour and resources effectively across the workshopDrive improvements in productivity and outputTeam LeadershipLead, motivate, and develop a team of fabricators, welders, and operativesConduct regular team briefings and toolbox talksManage performance, attendance, and training needsSupport development of multi-skilled teams and mentor junior staffHealth and SafetyEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulations and proceduresPromote safe working practices including use of PPE and equipmentConduct risk assessments and support incident investigationsMaintain high housekeeping standards across the workshopQuality and ..... full job details .....
