Bennett and Game Recruitment are currently working with a well-established fabrication and engineering company who are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication Estimator to join their team.This role would suit an estimator with a strong fabrication and welding background, capable of producing accurate estimates for fabrication and site installation works, along with detailed material take-offs and tender submissions.Package and BenefitsSalary circa 40,000 per annumCompany pension schemeOn-site parking31 days holiday, including a two-week shutdown over Christmas and public holidaysMonday to Friday working patternHours of work as required for the proper execution of dutiesKey responsibilities include:Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to prepare accurate cost estimatesPreparing detailed material take-offs, including proprietary itemsProducing and submitting tender returns and final offer letters using standard templatesPricing site installation works, considering labour, materials, plant, and overheadsConducting site visits to assess project scope and gather relevant information for pricingLiaising with customers and internal teams to clarify project requirements and pricing detailsMaintaining and updating pricing documentation using Excel and WordSupporting the project team with cost breakdowns and commercial insightRequired Skills and ExperienceFabrication background (light to medium fabrication essential; ..... full job details .....
