Job Role: Fabrication Design EngineerLocation: BradfordSalary: 35,000 - 50,000 + benefits (Contract also considered for the right candidate.) About the Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fabrication Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Bradford. Working across a range of water projects, you will be responsible for producing fabrication designs for an in-house fabrication shop specialising in galvanised mild steel (GMS), stainless steel pipework, access fabrications and associated ancillaries.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced design professional looking to work on varied projects within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:Producing detailed fabrication designs for GMS and stainless steel pipework systems Designing permanent access fabrications and associated ancillaries Supporting a range of water industry projects Working closely with in-house fabricators and site installation teams to ensure designs are practical and deliverable Producing pipework layouts, support designs and fabrication drawings Ensuring designs comply with relevant industry standards including WIMES 9.02 About you:Experience using Autodesk Inventor is essential SolidWorks experience would be advantageous Strong knowledge of pipework, fittings and associated support design Understanding of WIMES 9.02 for Permanent Access Fabrications Previous experience working closely with fabrication shops and site installers ..... full job details .....
