Fabrication and Machine Shop Supervisor, East Kilbride, 42,000 - 45,000 We''re recruiting for a hands-on Fabrication and Machine Shop Supervisor for a permanent role in East Kilbride. The position involves leading a small team of machine operators and welders in a precision engineering environment. This is a day shift role with early Friday finishes and flexibility on start/finish times. As a Machine Shop Supervisor, you''ll be responsible for:Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fabrication and machine shopLeading, supporting and motivating a team of machinists and weldersOperating horizontal boring machines and other conventional machine tools (lathes, drills, mills)Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to plan and carry out machining workEnsuring work is completed to required specifications and tight engineering tolerancesCarrying out inspections and maintaining quality throughout the processSupporting the development of standard operating procedures and continuous improvementMaintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment What you can expect in return:Salary: 42,000- 45,000 depending on experienceAnnual profit-share bonusAccess to employee share scheme with annual dividend39-hour working week:Monday to Thursday: 06:00-14:30Friday: 06:00-13:3032 days annual leave (inclusive of public holidays)5% matched employer pension contributionsStandard rate paid overtimeLong-term role within a stable, employee-owned business What we''re looking ..... full job details .....
