Fabric Technician, Stockton-on-Tees, start 07/09/2026, Basic DBSLocation: Stockton-on-Tees Start: 7th September 2026 Duration: Initially until the end of October 2026 Hours: 40 hours per week Working Hours: 11:30am - 8:35pm PAYE Rate: 14.66 per hour Umbrella Rate: 19.09 per hourWe are currently looking for an experienced Fabric Technician to work on a hospital site in Stockton-on-Tees for a major Building Services / Facilities Management company. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance, PPMs and minor project works across the hospital.Duties will include:Responding to reactive maintenance worksRepairs to floor and wall coveringsCeiling tile repairs and replacementsGeneral fabric, carpentry and building maintenanceDoor, ironmongery and general installation repairsLighting and general lamp changesBasic plumbing worksFilter changes to AHUs / FCUsCompleting reactive and PPM jobs within agreed timescalesCarrying out minor project worksCompleting site surveys and assisting with RAMS and Works RequestsLiaising professionally with the client''s representativesUsing a PDA to record completed works and provide updatesEnsuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with Health and Safety regulationsRequirements:Previous fabric maintenance and carpentry experienceCity and Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Carpentry preferredExperience working in a high-profile environmentValid Basic DBS - essentialFull UK driving licencePC literateGood ..... full job details .....
