Fabric Technician (Plumber bias)

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Operative with commercial building maintenance experience to join our highly regarded Maintenance team in Ilford. This role involves carrying out plumbing repairs, PPM''s and other general building maintenance. Rydon Maintenance Ltd provides a range of hard facilities management and property maintenance services in partnership with a range of NHS Trusts. We provide reactive and planned maintenance to a number of NHS buildings and we work to strict timescales and safety requirements to ensure the comfort and safety of service users using these NHS facilities. With offices in the South East, to Bristol in the South West our experience has taken us across a variety of sensitive healthcare environments. Job Purpose Based on one of our key NHS contracts in Ilford, you will work as part of a team in a ''multi-trade'' role completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM''s) and reactive repairs basis to the buildings fabric and plant. There will be a particular emphasis on plumbing work, which will include fault finding and repair work on a range of plumbing systems. You will also carry out other general maintenance works such as basic electrics and carpentry repairs. In addition there will also be some planned maintenance activities such as planned upgrade works and refurbishment as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure a safe environment for service users.
