Fabric Technician

Fabric Cutter Location Nottingham Salary 15.00 per hour About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturer within the upholstery and furniture industry, seeking an experienced Fabric Cutter to join their production team. This is an important role within the manufacturing process, ensuring fabrics and materials are accurately prepared to support high-quality sofa and furniture production. Key Responsibilities Cut fabrics and materials accurately using patterns, templates, and cutting equipment Read and interpret cutting plans, work orders, and technical drawings Inspect fabrics for faults and minimise material waste Work closely with sewing and production teams to meet deadlines Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Follow all health and safety procedures Requirements Previous experience in fabric cutting within upholstery, furniture, or textiles Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Good understanding of fabric types and handling methods Reliable team player with a proactive attitude Benefits Company pension Cycle to work scheme Employee discount Free on-site parking Store discount Additional Information This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable manufacturer offering stable, long-term work within a supportive team environment.
