Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Fabric Cutter to join our busy production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately cutting a variety of fabrics according to customer orders and production specifications, ensuring high standards of quality and minimal material waste.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately cut fabrics to specified measurements and patterns.

• Read and follow cutting instructions, work orders and production specifications.

• Identify different fabric types and handle materials with care.

• Check fabric quality and ensure all pieces meet required standards.

• Minimise fabric waste while maintaining accuracy.

• Prepare and organise cut fabric for the next stage of production.

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.

• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in fabric cutting, textiles or a similar production environment is desirable.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to follow written instructions and measurements.

• Good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

• A reliable, practical and hardworking approach.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
