We are looking for a reliable Fabric Engineer to join the onsite facilities team on a foot mobile contract.Have to be able to report to depot in Islington in the AM.The EssentialsSalary: £36,000 - £46,000Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00Location: Zones 1 and 2 Travel card Contract: Full-time, PermanentYour Day-to-DayYou will be the "go-to" person for all building fabric requirements. This is a hands-on role covering a variety of reactive tasks and planned preventative maintenance (PPM). Your responsibilities will include:Carpentry and Ironmongery: Adjusting door closures, fixing locks, and hanging doors.General Repairs: Replacing damaged ceiling tiles and flooring.Decoration: Patch plastering and touch-up painting to keep the site looking its best.Reactive Tasks: Responding quickly to various "handyman" requests from the client.Health and Safety: Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in compliance with site safety regulations.What We''re Looking ForExperience: Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer or Handyperson in a commercial environment (hospitals, universities, or large corporate offices).NVQ in Carpentry, Plumbing or Painting idealRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
