Salary:-Up to--41,200-depending on experience, plus overtime and-call-out payments

The Role
We are seeking-an experienced-Fabric Maintenance Technician-to join a-professional facilities-maintenance team. This-is an excellent-opportunity to work-within a fast-paced commercial environment, carrying-out both planned-preventative maintenance-(PPM) and reactive-fabric repairs to-ensure buildings are-maintained to a-high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned-preventative maintenance-(PPM) and reactive-fabric maintenance across-the site
- Complete-a range of-building fabric tasks-including carpentry, painting-and decorating, basic-plumbing,-patch repairs and-flooring maintenance
- Support the wider-engineering team with-maintenance activities-when required
- Ensure all work-is-carried out in-line with Health-& Safety legislation and-company procedures
- Respond promptly to-maintenance requests and-operational requirements
- Accurately record completed-work using the-CAFM system or-maintenance job sheets
- Identify defects, recommend-repairs-and suggest improvements-where appropriate
- Contribute to delivering-a high standard-of facilities-maintenance and customer-service
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in-a building services-or fabric maintenance-role
- Good all-round-knowledge of building-fabric repairs and-planned maintenance
- Experience-working within commercial, retail or similar-environments is desirable
- Sound understanding of-Health & Safety legislation-and safe working-practices
- Ability to work-independently as well-as part of-a team
- Strong-communication and customer-service skills
- Flexible approach with-a willingness to-support out-of-hours work and-call-outs when-required
Desirable
- Relevant qualifications-in carpentry, joinery-or building maintenance
- Experience working within-large, busy or-public-facing environments
- Familiarity with CAFM-systems
