Fabric Technician Location: Reading Salary: Up to 35,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week Job Type: Permanent HVAC Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Fabric Technician to join a leading facilities management team working across commercial office buildings in the Reading area. This is a great opportunity for a Fabric Engineer / Maintenance Engineer with good plumbing experience who is looking for a stable role with plenty of overtime opportunities and a strong overall package. The Role As a Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial office buildings. Duties will include: General fabric and building maintenance Reactive maintenance and fault finding Plumbing repairs and maintenance Minor building repairs and general handyman duties PPM and reactive maintenance Working across commercial office environments Supporting the wider facilities management team Travelling to client sites, with travel of up to 1.5 hours Participating in a 1 in 8 on-call rota The Candidate The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Fabric Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Handyman or similar Good plumbing experience Previous experience within a commercial/FM environment A broad range of general building maintenance skills Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities A full UK driving licence A professional and reliable approach to work Package ..... full job details .....
