Fabric EngineerGlasgow 31,000 BriefFabric Engineer needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Glasgow who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Fabric Engineer. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of fabric maintenance and minor works, including statutory fire door inspections, reactive repairs, smoke and intumescent strip replacement, plaster repairs, painting, lock repairs, and other related tasks within your scope of expertise. The successful candidate must have completed a recognised Joinery apprenticeship along with also having previous experience in building fabric maintenance or similar role. BenefitsSalary: 30,000 - 31,000 per annum24 day''s holidayVariable annual bonus based 5-15%Pension PlanCareer Progression What the role entails:Some of the main duties of the Fabric Engineer will include: Conduct statutory fire door inspections and perform reactive repairs such as strip replacements, plastering, painting, and lock repairs.Maintain accurate records and complete all electronic and paper-based work reports and task assessments.Use and maintain tools and equipment responsibly, performing daily safety inspections.Work to Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM) and other statutory compliance standards.Participate actively in planned maintenance schemes and respond promptly to unplanned events to meet SLA and minimize service disruptions.Produce method statements and risk ..... full job details .....
