Fabric Cutter

Purpose of the Role



To accurately cut and prepare fabrics and materials in accordance with manufacturing requirements, ensuring quality, traceability, and on-time delivery of aerospace products.



Key Responsibilities

• Cut fabrics and materials to specified dimensions, patterns, and work instructions.
• Prepare and kit materials for production while maintaining full traceability.
• Inspect materials for defects and ensure all work meets quality standards.
• Minimise material waste through efficient cutting and handling practices.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Work effectively as part of the production team to meet delivery targets.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety, Quality, and company procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow work instructions and drawings.
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to work.
• Previous manufacturing or cutting experience desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
