On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit several FandDT Repair Engineers on a for 10 months. As the FandDT Repair Engineer you will be responsible for completing Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis and justifications for metallic and composite structures.Role: FandDT Repair Engineer Pay: 46 per hour Via Umbrella Location: Filton Contract: Monday - Friday, 35 Hours per week, 10 months contract IR35 Status: Inside Security Clearance: BPSSResponsibilities Performing FandDT analysis and compiling justification reports for repair designs using approved methods and tools, working closely with skilled Design and Static Stress engineers to develop optimum repairs.Providing technical guidance and support to the internal teams, including the offshore teams, and any suppliers as required.Where necessary, leading packages of work, and integrating with Design and Static Stress teams for a major incident or complex activities.Developing methods and processes for repair analysis, working with method experts and tool owners to enhance the analysis capability of the repair teams. As well as working with the NDT specialist, developing inspection processes for repaired aircraft.When required, providing support to the repair team on other structure perimeters such as Fuselage, Empennage, High-Lift devices, etc. Essential and Desirable Skills: Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent) and relevant engineering experience.An aerospace FandDT engineering ..... full job details .....
