We are working with a welcoming primary school in Blackpool that is looking to appoint a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to support a child joining Reception in September. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child''s transition into school while working as part of a supportive Early Years team. The Role As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child starting Reception in September. Support the child''s communication, language, and social development throughout the school day. Deliver and reinforce phonics activities to support early reading skills. Encourage learning through play, helping to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences. Work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and external professionals to support the child''s individual needs. Observe and record progress, contributing to planning and review meetings where appropriate.
