A warm and inclusive primary school in Milton Keynesandnbsp;is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistantandnbsp;to join their Early Years team from October 2025.

About the Role:


  • Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum through a balance of engaging, play-based, and structured activities
  • Foster a nurturing and positive environment that promotes independence, curiosity, and self-confidence
  • Encourage early development in literacy, numeracy, and communication through interactive and hands-on learning experiences
  • Provide emotional and pastoral support to ensure children feel safe, valued, and ready to learn
  • Work in partnership with parents, carers, and colleagues to support the individual needs and progress of each child
  • Take an active role in EYFS events and contribute positively to the wider school community



The ideal candidate will:


  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting, such as nursery or reception
  • Ideally holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Demonstrates a patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach when supporting young children
  • Solid understanding of child development, safeguarding procedures, and inclusive educational practices
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and stay well-organised
  • A genuine enthusiasm for early years education and a creative approach to learning
