Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum through play-based and structured learning
- Create a nurturing environment that encourages independence, curiosity, and confidence
- Assist with phonics, early numeracy, and language development using engaging methods
- Provide emotional and pastoral support to help children feel safe, happy, and ready to learn
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and colleagues to support each childandrsquo;s unique learning journey
- Take part in EYFS events, celebrations, and enrichment activities within the school community
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working in an EYFS setting (nursery or reception class)
- Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (preferred)
- Be patient, compassionate, and adaptable with a team-focused mindset
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and inclusive education
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be passionate about early learning, creative play, and helping every child shine
