EYFS Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Nursery School in South Birmingham from September 2026. This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week, for the full academic year. The successful candidate will work within the nursery''s 2-year-old provision, supporting children during a vital stage of their early development. The role will have a strong focus on speech, language and communication, helping children develop confidence and key early learning skills through play-based activities and nurturing interactions. The Role Supporting children aged 2 years within the nursery setting.Promoting speech, language and communication through engaging activities and play.Supporting children''s learning, development and independence.Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.Working closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team.Providing personal care as required.Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting.A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification is essential.A good understanding of the EYFS Framework.Experience supporting speech and language development is desirable.A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach.A willingness to undertake personal care duties.Teaching Can Offer Competitive rates of pay.Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant.Opportunities to work within excellent local schools and ..... full job details .....
