Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant Westminster, Central London 110 - 125 per day September Start Full-Time Long-Term About the Role Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Westminster to recruit an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start. The role will involve supporting children with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delays. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide targeted support while helping pupils develop their communication, independence, and confidence. Key responsibilities include:Providing 1:1 and small group SEN supportSupporting communication and speech and language developmentEncouraging learning through play and structured activitiesSupporting social interaction and emotional regulationDelivering targeted interventions under the guidance of the SENCOHelping pupils develop independence and confidenceSupporting children with transitions and daily routinesActively engaging within Early Years provision rather than simply observingThe Ideal Candidate The school is looking for someone who:Has experience working with young children, ideally within Early Years or SENIs warm, patient, and engagingCan build positive relationships with childrenIs confident supporting children through play-based learningIs proactive and willing to get involved throughout the school dayHas strong communication and teamwork ..... full job details .....
