EYFS Teaching Assistant - Heswall

Location: Heswall, Wirral
Start Date: Monday 21st September 2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term until February 2027, with potential to extend
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:45am-3:30pm
Pay: -92.56 -100 per dayv (depending on qualifications & experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school in Heswall.

The school is looking for someone who can support children within the Early Years classroom and help create a stimulating environment where children feel confident, happy and ready to learn.

You will be supporting with:

• Phonics and early reading
• Early maths activities
• Communication and language development
• Learning through play
• Classroom routines
• Personal care where required
• Developing children''s confidence and independence

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working within EYFS, Nursery or Reception.

This is a long-term role initially running until February 2027, with the possibility of continuing beyond this date for the right candidate.
