Supply Desk is currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, offering a fantastic opportunity to inspire and support children at the very beginning of their educational journey.

The school is known for its nurturing ethos and commitment to high-quality early years education. It provides children with a stimulating and supportive learning environment where they can grow emotionally, socially, and academically. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing engaging, play-based learning experiences and have a solid understanding of the EYFS framework.



Job Description:


  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Foster a safe and stimulating classroom environment that supports children''s development across all early learning goals.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting outcomes to parents and senior staff.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to support the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community to support each childandrsquo;s learning journey.
  • Contribute to the wider school life, including events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection practices.



Our ideal candidate will:


  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching in an EYFS setting (ECTs are also welcome to apply).
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
  • Be a reflective practitioner, committed to continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with staff, children, and families.
  • Be passionate about early childhood education and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a clear DBS check.
  • Be proactive, creative, and adaptable in their approach to teaching and learning.
