EYFS Teacher – Full-Time, Long-Term Position
Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Start Date: September 2026

A well-established and progressive independent preparatory school in Borehamwood is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join its Early Years team from September 2026.

You will be responsible for delivering an engaging and high-quality Early Years curriculum, fostering a classroom environment where children feel motivated, supported, and inspired to learn.

• Plan and deliver imaginative, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a stimulating and well-organised learning environment, both indoors and outdoors
• Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils
• Monitor and assess children’s progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain consistency across the Early Years provision
• Take an active role in the wider school community, including events and enrichment opportunities

The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for Early Years education and the ability to create a warm, engaging learning environment.

You will:

• Hold QTS or EYTS, with relevant EYFS experience
• Have a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
• Be creative, organised, and proactive in your approach
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive school culture
