EYFS Reception Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Shirebrook, Mansfield - NG20
Daily Pay: -180 - -230
Start Date: September 2025
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Contract Type: Long-term

Are you an enthusiastic and imaginative EYFS teacher searching for a welcoming, progressive school environment? Long Term Futures are currently supporting a two-form entry primary school in Shirebrook, Mansfield, in their search for a Reception Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting September 2025. This opportunity is perfect for teachers who have completed their ECT induction and are ready to thrive in an engaging Early Years setting.



Role Overview:

  • Lead a Reception class with full teaching responsibility

  • Deliver creative, child-centred lessons that support early development

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with EYFS standards

  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere

  • Collaborate closely with the EYFS team, SENCO, and families

  • Ensure a safe, nurturing environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively



Candidate Requirements:

  • QTS with successful completion of ECT induction

  • Prior experience teaching within the EYFS phase

  • Warm, creative, and supportive approach to early years teaching

  • Confident in managing routines and individual learning needs

  • Excellent communication skills with parents and colleagues

  • Familiarity with Read Write Inc or similar phonics schemes
